OBU-Onslow vs HOBM

The Match was tinged with Refereeing controversy, with both teams at the end of the match claiming victory. However it was OBU-Onslow who left with the four points with a 14-10 win over Hutt Old Boys Marist at Kelburn Park.

Penalties gave OBU-Onslow an early advantage however this was erased when a skip move went horribly wrong, the HOBM full back read the move and intercepted the ball for a run away try. It was unfortunate as OBU-Onslow were starting to exert some authority on the game.

Both teams went down to 14 players mid way through the first half as the ref was struggling to handle the situation. Toni was unlucky to be sent to the bin, the ref was loosing the confidence of everyone on the pitch.

OBU-Onslow lost there way mid way through the game however as the pressure started to build they got themselves in a position to score, it was Shane who forced himself over the line late in the second half to take the lead.
